When you stretch the rear or rework the suspension on a JK, the factory fuel tank becomes the first obstacle. The MB5099 Tomahawk Fuel Cell moves the fuel where it belongs on a serious build. With a 17.5 gallon capacity and a profile that hangs only 5.50 inches below the frame rails, it keeps the rear packaging tight without sacrificing usable fuel volume, while allowing up to 10"s of stretch. Designed to work with the factory frame or the MB1260 Tomahawk rear bumper, this cell integrates cleanly into builds that demand link clearance and improved departure angle. The compact design supports rear stretch applications and suspension layouts where the factory tank simply no longer fits. This is not a universal drop in replacement. It is a purpose built solution for JK builds that have outgrown the factory layout. Important Information Designed for rear mounted fuel cell applications. MB5100 is required to access the fuel filler. Will not work with MB1081 rear bumper. Professional installation recommended. Proper fuel system plumbing and venting must be followed.
